New Jersey attorney and children’s book author Justin Drazin has partnered with Goryeb Children’s Hospital at Morristown Medical Center to support an innovative storytelling initiative that delivers comfort and entertainment to pediatric patients through a dedicated in-hospital television network.

Drazin donated his original children’s books to the hospital’s “Calling All Kids® Storytime Network,” a unique program produced by the Women’s Association for Morristown Medical Center (WAMMC). The initiative transforms children’s stories into engaging video content that is broadcast 24/7 throughout the hospital, providing young patients with uplifting, age-appropriate programming during their stay.

The “Calling All Kids®” program goes beyond traditional entertainment. Through its in-house television network and interactive production studio located within Goryeb Children’s Hospital, the initiative allows children to watch, and even participate in, the creation of storytime content designed to bring joy, distraction, and emotional support during hospitalization.

In addition to his donation, Justin Drazin did an on-air reading of his international award-winning book, “Albert and the Amazing Pillow Monsters” to be broadcast on Channel 65/WAMMC-TV throughout the Goryeb Children’s Hospital system.

“As both an attorney and a children’s book author, I’ve always believed in the power of storytelling to comfort and inspire. When children are in the hospital, even small moments of joy can make a big difference. If a story can help a child smile, or laugh, or feel a sense of normalcy while they fight for their health, that’s incredibly meaningful to me,” said Justin Drazin, attorney at Drazin and Warshaw.

In addition to his legal practice, Drazin is an award-winning children’s book author and a strong proponent of early childhood literacy. His published works include Albert and the Amazing Pillow Monsters, It’s Raining Paint, and Grandma and the Groundhog, which focus on themes of imagination, kindness, and creativity. He has donated more than 1,000 copies of his books to schools, libraries, and charitable organizations throughout the tri-state area.

By contributing his books, Drazin is helping expand the library of stories available to patients through the network, which is widely recognized as a “premier healing service” supporting children and families at the hospital.

The program is designed to create moments of normalcy and joy in an otherwise stressful environment. Through a blend of storytelling, animation, and interactive experiences, “Calling All Kids®” helps young patients engage with creative content while receiving care.
